Mediline successfully completes the acquisition of Medinova d.o.o.

Since our foundation in 1997, Mediline has gone through several cycles of development and growth, of which we are incredibly proud. In 2022, we reached a new strategic milestone – in December, we completed the acquisition of the controlling stake in Medinova d.o.o. Medinova is an essential partner to the healthcare sector in the supply of the highest quality dialysis and transfusion products, strengthening Mediline’s presence in the segment.

We are particularly pleased that the whole negotiation process was conducted in a relaxed spirit, knowing that together, the two companies can support their partners better. The seller, Ms. Sonja Ana Viršek, with her many years of experience, will remain in the company as a vital link in its development and growth, and Mr. Boris Mlinar, who was already her assistant before the acquisition, will take over the management of the company as of 1 January. Together, the teams of both companies will be even stronger, enabling the Group to take advantage of opportunities in the market.
