QIAGEN introduces QIAsprint Connect, a new automated, high-throughput system for nucleic acid purification, designed for laboratories handling large sample volumes and high numbers of nucleic acid isolations. Building on established sample preparation solutions, the instrument emphasizes efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability.

 

QIAsprint Connect can process up to 2 × 96 samples simultaneously while reducing hands-on time. Its intuitive user interface makes protocol setup and execution simple, and the system also supports remote access, allowing users to monitor runs without being physically present.

A key advantage of the system is its flexibility. In combination with modular reagent kits, it allows laboratories to use pre-programmed protocols or fully customize protocols to meet their specific needs. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications and for processing diverse sample types, including those that are more challenging.

The system is also designed with sustainability in mind. The updated design can reduce plastic usage by up to 50% and packaging volume by 40%, minimizing waste and optimizing storage.

QIAsprint Connect is ideal for laboratories seeking fast, reliable automation of nucleic acid purification, with the added benefits of flexibility and efficient use of resources. It is the first of three instruments being launched this year, with QIAmini and QIAsymphony Connect following.
