Grifols Erytra Eflexis

The Erytra Eflexis is a fully automated, medium-sized analyzer that uses DG Gel technology to perform pre-transfusion compatibility tests. As the natural evolution in Grifols scalable blood typing solutions, the Erytra Eflexis is designed to make daily work more accessible and efficient.

One of the key features of the Erytra Eflexis is its scalability. It has an innovative and compact design that adapts to lab workflows, making it ideal for labs with variable configurations. In addition, the Erytra Eflexis can be combined with the Erytra analyzer using the same software and sample holders. This provides even greater flexibility for labs with changing needs. The Erytra Eflexis can also be connected to the Erytra network, allowing remote access to results validation and after-sales support via LIS bi-directional connectivity.

The Erytra Eflexis offers highly flexible performance for multiple lab configurations. It has automatic tube size and diameter recognition, a tailored worksheet, and an integrated quality control program. The analyzer allows for the continuous loading of samples and reagents without any interruption to the analytical process and STAT management. Reagents, cards, and samples can be handled in random positions and are compatible with the same Erytra sample holders used by all DG systems. The incubators are designed to work independently, allowing for greater efficiency and flexibility.

The Erytra Eflexis is also designed to be easy to use, minimizing operator interaction with a user-friendly experience and a smart, compact design with easy internal organization. Users can interact with an external touchscreen, which can be placed on either side of the instrument for optimal use of lab space. Users can also access real-time information about the reagent, sample status, and high-definition coloring for results revisions. The Erytra software is coupled with the analyzer and requires minimal training.

The product’s dimensions are 110 x 71 x 91 cm (W x D x H) without a monitor, weighing 173 kg. It operates on a 100-240 V voltage with a frequency of 50/60 Hz and consumes 600 W. It can handle up to 72 sample tubes simultaneously, and sample positioning is continuous and random. The product also includes a liquid reagent station with up to 46 reagent positions, a card station with a loading capacity of 200 cards, and three independent incubators with 12 cards per incubator. 

The reading system uses high-resolution color CCD camera technology. The product includes Grifols DG Fluid A and DG Fluid B for the fluidic system, with 6 L containers each. It has a positive automatic reagent identification feature and can identify multiple barcode types. The product’s maximum throughput is 50 cards/hr (400 results/hr).
