Eppendorf Centrifuge 5804 / 5804R

The Eppendorf Centrifuge 5804/5804 R is a high-speed benchtop centrifuge ideal for medium-throughput molecular biology applications. Thanks to a broad range of rotors and adapters, it offers high versatility, handling all standard tube formats from 0.2 mL to 250 mL and plates.

The Eppendorf Centrifuge 5804/5804 R is a high-quality and reliable benchtop centrifuge suitable for medium-throughput applications requiring speeds of up to 20,913 x g (14,000 rpm). It offers versatility with a wide selection of rotors and adapters that can accommodate tubes and bottles from 0.2 mL to 250 mL, as well as MTP, PCR, and deep-well plates. The swing-bucket rotor and adapters can handle vessels from 0.2 mL to 250 mL, while the fixed-angle rotors can handle vessels from 0.2 mL to 85 mL. The plate rotor can be used to centrifugate all common types of multiwell plates. The Eppendorf Rotor S–4–72 is also suitable for medium-throughput molecular applications and can handle all standard tube formats from 0.2 mL to 250 mL. The Eppendorf Rotor FA–45–6–30 is suitable for the safe centrifugation of hazardous samples and has a low rotor weight of 3.2 kg to improve handling.

Regarding technical specifications, the Centrifuge 5804/5804 R has a maximum rotor capacity of 4 x 250 mL and a total speed of 14,000 rpm. The rotor S–4–72 has a maximum rotor capacity of 4 x 100 mL and a top speed of 4,200 rpm, while the Rotor FA–45–6–30 has a maximum rotor capacity of 6 x 50 mL and a total rate of 12,100 rpm (in Centrifuge 5810 R) and 11,000 rpm (in Centrifuge 5804, 5804 R, and 5810). The plate rotor has a maximum RCF of 2,254 x g. The swing-bucket rotor and adapters have a maximum RCF of 20,913 x g, while the fixed-angle rotors have a maximum RCF of 20,130 x g.

The Eppendorf Centrifuge 5804/5804 R, Rotor S–4–72, and Rotor FA–45–6–30 are all designed with safety and sustainability.
